Financial Assistance and Counseling The full-time social worker at The Denver Clinic for Extremities at Risk assists patients by helping patients understand their insurance benefits as they are related to the treatment they will receive. For patients without coverage, the social worker works to help the patient find coverage if possible and connecting the patient with hospital financial counselors to assess financial impact of care. In addition, the social worker assists patients and families with counseling as necessary during the treatment process. |

Dr. Cindy Kelly has been a member of the Denver Clinic since 1995. She obtained her MD degree at UCLA, graduating with honors and completed her orthopeadic surgery training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. After completing a fellowship in musculoskeletal oncology at UCLA she relocated to Denver and joined the Denver Clinic for Extremities at Risk. Her areas of interest and expertise are bone and soft tissue tumors, in all age groups, and osteonecrosis (avascular necrosis of bone). |
