Laurel Benson, MD

thumb_Dr-L-BensonDr. Laurel Benson is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Rocky Mountain Pediatric Orthopedics. Dr. Benson graduated from the University of Colorado Medical School and completed her residency in orthopedic surgery at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, Illinois.  She completed her fellowships in pediatric orthopedics at Children's Hospital - University of California, San Diego and the Solfield Travelling Fellow, Australia.  Dr. Benson went on to complete a second fellowship in pediatric hand surgery at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, Dallas, Texas.

Trystain Johnson, MD

Dr. Trystain Johnson

Dr. Trystain D. Johnson is a Board Certified Radiologist specializing in both Musculoskeletal Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology. He graduated summa cum laude with an undergraduate degree from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. His M.D. was obtained from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, where he earned many honors, including selection to the AOA (Alpha Omega Alpha) honor society in his junior year. His Radiology Residency education was from the University of Colorado, where he also completed a dedicated year of musculoskeletal imaging fellowship training. In addition to his radiology duties at Diversified, Dr. Johnson is the Chair of the Musculoskeletal Section and contributes to various committees within the practice. Dr. Johnson is a leader in the Denver musculoskeletal community, where he has been involved in the instruction of various medical students and residents, routinely participates in community-wide conferences, has given lectures to medical residents, and has served as Clinical Radiology Faculty for the University of Colorado. He has contributed to articles for publications specific to musculoskeletal imaging and has lectured for a regional conference.
