Best Reported Long-Term Survival for Bone Cancer

The intraarterial chemotherapy protocol developed in cooperation with Colorado State University's Animal Cancer Center is utilized at The Denver Clinic for treatment of osteosarcoma and malignant fibroushistiosarcoma of the extremity in children and adults. Patient outcomes following treatment using the I-A protocol by the Denver Clinic physicians have resulted in the best 10-year survival for bone cancer in kids and adults compared to any other center in the world.

The Denver Clinic physicians have published these outcomes in peer reviewed journals. For more information please feel free to contact The Denver Clinic at 1-800-262-5462.

Weekly Patient Conference

thumb_limb_pres_conf_oct_02_08-72dpiThe cornerstone of Extremities at Risk Program is a weekly clinical conference where medical specialists gather to discuss clinical issues and potential patient treatment plans. The clinical conference matches advanced protocols or successful new surgical techniques to the individual patient. The treating physician will often return with follow-up information about the results, aiding in future discussions regarding patients with similiar problems.
